Why memorize scripture?

HOSEA 4:6 God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”'

Kids these days are growing up in a world without God’s Word. Most of what is advertised is opposed to what God desires, and it will be a long time before they can understand the corruption that exists in many large companies and in leadership.

Therefore, we need to help kids grow up with a love for God’s Holy Word, knowing that it is… the lamp to our feet… the light to our path… sweeter than honey… more valuable than gold… and much, much more.

2 PETER 1:3 “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.”

Families and adults who missed out on a scriptural foundation, need to take their spiritual lives to the next level and gain the knowledge necessary to lead their families, and others, to holiness.

Most people don’t have the opportunity to take seminary classes, read the Bible multiple times, and really get formed well. Our courses help them get some of that training that will benefit their soul!

PSALM 107:20 “He sent forth His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.”

Veterans have experienced destruction, and the LORD wants to heal them in many ways. The souls who have experienced personal combat, are in extra need of the Word of God that will heal, and deliver them from future destructive thoughts, habits, and actions that could come from the pain they previously witnessed and experienced.

The idea for Soul Fitness Ministries came in 2011 and has developed into many books, courses, coloring books, prayer guides and more.
