Rick Bonfim is known by many, as a strong man of God, anointed by the LORD, to do the work of God. I have often referred to him as a Brazilian Methodist Evangelist. He has served the United Methodist Church for decades as an evangelist, and has blessed hundreds of churches, and several thousands of people, personally. I’ve participated in hundreds of Rick’s Bible studies in Georgia, went on revivals with him in the USA, and in other countries, and enjoyed feeding and clothing the poor, and minister to the souls in America, Brazil, and many other countries, including Cuba. With a calling from childhood, Rick developed a specific way to discern how to pray for each individually, and eventually, after half a century of ministry, published his book called, Praying with Accuracy. While I worked for Rick as an intern, at the office in Athens, Georgia, he said I should write a book called ‘The Diary of An Evangelist.’ Over the next several months, as you’ll read about in this book, I record the journeys, the lessons, and the experiences I had when I went with him to Williamsburg, Virginia, for one of his revival weekends… a trip to Washington, D.C., with Jason Goins for a conference called, Awaken the Dawn, and another weekend trip to Ellaville, Georgia where Rick did his Bible teaching on the Holy Spirit, ministering to souls, how to pray with accuracy and much more.
